Creation of the 'Concept Story of Figma'

This is a concept story about how Figma solves problem for Hunt who knows little about creating. The goal of this project is to study a digital product and communicate a story about how this product help its users.

Working process:

The first step is refining the story arcs from last time and choose one among them.

I chose to do Figma's. And the next thing I created is the GMC portrait.

I then created this GMC portrait on Figma and I started to craft the storyboard right away.

It was in this step, I figured that something doesn't seem right. The competitor should go before the problem solving, and I made some adjustment.

I then created the lines for the character in Figma.

What I did next is that I draw all the scenes on my notebook.

Scanning the drafts into computer and adjusting the color.

And then I prepared the audio clips based on the lines.

Near the end, I imported everything and arranged them in Premiere Pro.

I also picked a background music from Youtube and converted it into MP3 format. With a background music, my video seemed more completed.

Reflection: I experienced an 'out of idea' period of time during working on this project. I think I still can't jump out of the concept story arc template to make the story more interesting. I believe that plot of the concept story can be as interesting as other stories. I think a good way to solve this problem is to create a story without using the template first and then try to put the template into some parts of that story.

Another thing is that I need to discover some more efficient way to create animation. I thought of making colored animation for this project, but it seemed to be too time consuming. Maybe it is a good idea to try to relearn what I already forgot in Adobe Animation and use it for making animation next time? It had been a long time since I learned how to use it in high school.

The time is pretty tight for this project too. I should had start this project on Monday.🧐
